About this deal

A: Yes, you can turn it off. It could also function as a hot key to any function of your preference. The Corsair Gaming M65 Pro Optical Mouse comes equipped with a myriad of gaming-focused features, perfect for FPS titles. The PMW3360 optical sensor has a maximum of 12,000 DPI which can be adjusted in a number of ways, including a sniper button for instantly reducing the DPI. Its lightweight yet durable, anodised aluminium frame is tuneable for adjusting the weight and centre of gravity of your mouse. Plus, you can take the customisation further as the Corsair M65 Pro is fully supported by iCUE software The Features of Corsair Gaming M65 Pro Optical Mouse at a Glance: Adjustable weight system to customise both the weight and centre of gravity to suit your play style Once we’re in and after we remove the cables and screws we now have some left-right mouse buttons that we can salvage! The company “ZIP” cannot be found but the switches at least feel good and we did plug this mouse in prior to make sure that there are no cold connections going on. One thing to note is if you are trying to repair your middle mouse button switch it might be harder to salvage. In the picture above the middle-button switch has the dimensions which are more appropriate to repair a Corsair Naga series mouse which needs a 6mm X 6mm X 7mm design.

Optional) Plastic pry-bar. You Could use the screwdriver however metal tends to leave cosmetic damage around the lip of the mouse. With the key-caps wearing out about a year and a half of ownership, I’m pretty much tired of Corsair’s shit at this level and am now willing on cutting my losses with this company altogether. We’re not leaders of industry however one of the ways factories keep costs low is by buying one particular brand of switches and circuits and use those units throughout the entire product. Corsair gaming products were known for using cherry switches in their mechanical keyboards. So why not remain consistent in quality for their mice? Why not keep it the same brand using five or even six switches making even the middle button amazing? There are a couple versions out still or there are sometimes, and it's hard to tell the difference between them. As far as I can tell, the left side is the giveaway. The bad one has metal showing (silver aluminum looking) with cutouts usually plus a weird texture scroll wheel (ones with just horizontal lines are good) and the good ones have the side piece full extended from the sniper button. I think this applies to all versions wireless, pro, elite, expensive etc. This one is the good one, and you can tell immediately in person by the quality feel. (still not as quality as the OG one but close) IDK what corsair got going on However, if you want a mouse that’s light as a feather, getting these fussy weights out can bring the weight down to a measly 97g. Or, you can just remove a few of them to change the center of gravity.Corsair really has outgrown their previous M65 Pro, and that is evident with the PMW3391 sensor deployed in the M65 Elite. The mouse has no inherent acceleration, Hallelujah! You can feel the difference in performance – it is raw, responsive and has pinpoint accuracy. Flip over your mouse and with your Torx-7 bit remove the two screws. We should note that this is actually nice of Corsair. Most hide the screw holes underneath the PTFE pads. But we’re also unsure why corsair used T-7. Why not Phillips like everything else? Oh well. Shit, just go get a Microsoft Intellemouse 1.1 for around 20-30(USD) from NewEgg if all Corsair wants to do is sell a mediocre product!

We were having a hard time finding the appropriate cherry for the middle mouse button which is 6mm X 6mm X 5mm in dimensions with only two connector pins no ground pin. If anyone knows the Cherry model number for that leave it in the comments below. Salvage mode. If resetting your mouse doesn't fix the issue, reach out to Customer Support for further assistance.

High-mass scroll wheel

The 2,000Hz polling rate is relevant. Moving from 1,000Hz — which is typical of wireless gaming mice — to 2,000Hz cuts down the response time to 0.5ms. From the buttons to the sensor to the polling rate, the M65 Ultra Wireless is set up to give you an advantage, no matter how small. Connectivity and battery life If you have a wireless computer mouse, the steps for resetting will vary slightly from resetting a wired computer mouse.
