As you have probably noticed from the books that I discuss on this blog, I read a lot of dark books (yet in reality I am a happy, optimistic and bubbly person!). You Can Trust Me took the meaning of a dark book to a whole new level for one key reason: this is real-life, and could happen to anyone.

You Can Trust Me: The gripping, glamorous psychological You Can Trust Me: The gripping, glamorous psychological

Livy cannot believe that her friend has committed suicide and she refuses to let it drop. She believes someone was responsible for Julia's apparent suicide and is adamant she will find out who. I’m always with you wherever you are as I’m always closer to you than you think; I’m right there in your heart. I will always be there for you whenever you need me. I love you more and more. Many companies also push the illusion that they have an intimate relationship with us, using our first name and adopting casual or jokey language – something that writer Leigh Alexander has called the “intimacy economy”. 3. Flaunt your reputation One thing I’m sure of is that I will always love you more and more from dawn to dusk with every fibre of my being. I love you so much, pumpkin. This is a psychological thriller that certainly kept me guessing, one of those books where there appears to be a plethora of suspects for the scary narrator who we know has killed before and will probably not stop until they are caught. Gina Blaxill wanted to be an author from a very young age - she started writing properly when she was eight and has not stopped since.

You can trust me: Five shortcuts to show that you’re for real

May reminded me a lot of myself and there was another terrifying real life aspect to this novel which adds another layer, because the reality is, it happens more than some people realize. It’s more and more common everyday. Let’s just say if there is a LFL on a cruise ship…this book won’t likely be in it. Ha ha. I did find I didn’t overly like Livy as a character as she was just so listless. I hated that she seemed to have lost her sense of purpose in life and that she felt she had no time for interests outside the family. It bugged me that she didn’t take the time to do something for herself when they were in school. I know she had her problems but I wanted to shake some energy onto her. Livy continued to dwell and dwell, on her husband's infidelity six years ago with no trust or intimacy. However, on the other hand, she immediately trusts Julia's grieving fiancé, Damian, one of mystery; since Julia had hidden his identity from her. When Livy arrives at Jula’s flat for a lunch date, she finds her dead, as she did not answer her text the previous night and now feels guilty. Of course, her death was ruled as a suicide; however Livy cannot accept this decision, and begins to dig further to solve the mystery of her friend. She knows her friend loves life, and would never take her own life. What if she was murdered, and by whom? Could the killer be one of Livy’s friends, family or acquaintances?

Why not get up from the couch and read my collections of you can trust me, I will never let you down.

True friends are very rare to find and I’m really glad you found me. You’re a rare gem and I will never do anything to jeopardize our friendship. I love you so much, my good friend. The relationship between Livy and Julia comes to an abrupt end, when Julia is found dead. What at first looks like suicide causes Livy to have certain doubts. These doubts are that Julia is not a person who she would've expected to commit suicide, deep down she feels that she has been killed. Falling in love with you was the beginning of a beautiful happily ever after and I want you to know that I will always respect, honour, love and treat you special. I love you unconditionally. I’m indeed glad you found me and in return, I promise to never take you nor your friendship for granted. I will always and forever cherish every moment with you. I love you more, my lovely friend. Cats: An incredible novel all round! Most probably a new favourite. I'll re-read and highly recommend.
