Follow the various prompts on the mobile application and the Wi-Fi settings in your mobile phone to connect to the camera via Wi-Fi. You would think because it’s cheaper than the Go Pro by 1/3rd, then the quality would be bad. But apart from a few differences here and there, there is no major difference between the Xiaomi Action Camera and the Go Pro. It just goes on to show how overpriced the Go Pro actually is.

Yes, it’s a great little action cam that becomes an awesome action cam when combined with the MiJia Gimbal.There is a charging port is located at the side with a sliding cover. This cover makes it safe even if you decide to take deep dive shots. The only unfortunate thing is that it doesn’t have a type-c USB support which is kinda irritating in this day and age.

Our Verdict
Ok, so I’d be lying if I said the MiJia had more vivid colours than the GoPro, but it holds it’s own all the same and offers a higher level of detail. The worst nightmare for every tourist is when you’re visiting a once in a lifetime spot, you reach for your camera and its dead… It’s nice to see the Mi brand signature following through from the Mi Band to the MiJia 360 in the form of the textured circular metal ring surrounding the camera lens. In addition to the fisheye lens, this Mijia Mini 4K action camera has a Lens Correction Option. It basically removes all the distortion in an image. However, the depth of the field will be compromised. So, it has a slightly narrower field of vision and you have to physically move closer to the subject. However, this feature in general is extremely useful when there are blemishes or obstruction you can’t control.
