PS VR accessories

While not required for most games, PlayStation Move controllers are highly recommended. They are an additional expense, but one you're unlikely to regret. Now that you're up and running, it's time to tweak your setup. Sure, out of the box, PSVR usually works well enough, but unless you're playing in a dark 12 ft. x 12 ft. cave, things won't be perfect. While it obviously wasn't available at the system's launch, PlayStation VR is the biggest reason to buy a PS Camera if you don't already have one. It provides one of the least expensive ways to dip your toes into true virtual reality, as it doesn't require a beefy PC. Your PS4 will recognise you, and once you hold the controller light bar as shown on screen, you'll be logged in automatically.

Tighten the headband using the adjustment dial (D) just enough to stop movement, but not so far that it feels too tight. The best distance between player and camera is around 2 meters / 6ft. Adjust your position if necessary. If the PS Camera is still not recognized, keep the PS Camera connected and power down your PS4 and restart it.
