This is a woody lily with a little hint of menthol like, bright, fresh aroma. It has honey like underlying something as well. It is never too sweet though. When To Wear Beauty: Wear this one when you want to feel dressed up. The jasmine makes it perfect for summer and springtime parties.

the bottle is genial. just art. old (from the 90´) but still modern and still unbeatably till now <3 i bought it in every avilable size (30ml, 50ml, 100ml) just to have it as an art objekt in my living room. the scent is very nice, too. but not my very favorite I've never smelled eucaleptus in a perfume and I must say that this perfume is not what I imagined it to be. In fact I don't get an eucaleptus note at all. I get sault and amber instead, none of them is listed among the ingredients of the perfume.I dunno, I can understand how other people like it, but, it just did not go with my oriental chypre floral nose. As I said, it's pretty. Very, very girly, in spite of the unusual, fresh, clean, green, minty note of eucalyptus. That, in fact, is what lifts Contradiction from the (for me usually unwearable) plain floral group into something rather unique with quite a bit of personality! As everyone has said, the name “Contradiction” fits. It’s like an aquatic and oriental at the same time. Interesting for sure but I don’t know if the end result is a successful fragrance. Originality: 3 out of 5 – This is different, but with some effort you could find something similar. That's a nice combination of spices over a subtle vetiver and woody base, suitable for all-year use, but prefered in hot days.

Please note that Royal Mail currently classes perfumes, nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel. I looked up the combination of the most dominat notes to see how common it is. If I search by only the two main notes, eucalyptus and lily, the entire fragrantica database only comes up with 10 matches, those 10 also including masculine-targeted fragrances. Each added note slashes that number further.This is the first (and only) perfume that my hubby bought me and therefore, it will always have a special place in my heart. The top notes are fresh and very likable. But then, the orchid and something very peachy shows up that gives me a headache every time. So I scrub if off and have never really reached the base notes. Maybe I got a bad bottle. This doesn't faintly remind me of D&G the One Gentleman or Bvlgari Man Extreme or Mr Burberry. This reminds me of bug spray. This may just be one that I don't fully appreciate. I don't think this is for the masses.
