A lot of my notes fall into a category where I’m essentially filling out a form. It’s a pretty simple process where I can print out some blank forms that I complete by hand as necessary, and then re-print the completed forms for future reference. What differentiates the international system from its North American counterpart is that it encompasses a format that has an aspect ratio equal to the square root of two (1.414). The most commonly used series within the ISO standard is the A-series, of which the A4 format is particularly popular. Applications are partially or fully broken on Wayland. Offhand, the main things I know of are applications not adapted for screencasting through the portal system (like Bluejeans and Webex) and IPKVM software (like Synergy, Barrier/Input-Leap, etc.). This is actively being fixed. KDE has introduced xwaylandvideobridge for the first type of apps and @whot is working on the second type ( in xdg-desktop-portal and input-leap added support) NVIDIA's proprietary driver does support Plasma Wayland. We have members on the Fedora KDE team daily driving it. And there's work going on to revamp and significantly update Nouveau for the last 3 generations of NVIDIA GPUs, which are 8 of the top 10 GPUs from the Steam hardware survey, including the number one GPU. That is because in the decades prior to Personal Computer, the US Standard “Letter” Sizes were for designed for the draftsman: the kind-a guy sitting at the angled desk with the only electrical device in sight would be the light bulb (he EVEN had to manually sharpen his own pencils).
