Once the poles are in, it's just a case of pegging out the tent. There are also five guylines, so it's a tent that will withstand severe weather. The tent has good airflow; the fly sheet door has a "hood" over the top, so the door can be opened without being exposed to the elements; this help promotes good circulation. However, it should be noted this tent is designed to protect from bad weather rather than ventilation.

In certain weather conditions, the design of any tent can be overwhelmed by moisture. For example, if it is a cold night and there is no breeze to circulate the warm, moist air out of the tent, condensation is likely to form. Store wet stuff outside: Towels, boots, waterproofs, swimming trunks, sweaty friends… keep that soggy, wet stuff out of the tent. Use an awning, tarp or hub to provide storage for wet kit.
