Ollie The Owl allows you to adjust the volume and brightness and keeps the light on for around 30 minutes. It also features a CrySensor that activates the sleep aid when your baby stirs or wakes. Both the sounds and light automatically turn off after 20 minutes so that you don’t have to turn it off yourself. However, 20 minutes may not be enough time to get your baby to sleep, so you may have to restart Ewan The Dream Sheep once it turns off. You can play the sounds by squeezing Ollie’s right wing. The sounds play for 20 minutes before automatically turning off; however, Ollie The Owl takes it a step further with its CrySensor. Firstly, you'll be pleased to know any one of ewan’s sounds can be selected to play in both normal and smartCRY mode. Press and hold the main button on the pod for 3 seconds, you should hear 1 single beep - this signifies that the sensor is switched ON and ewan is listening. The smartCRY Sensor will listen out for your baby for 4 hours. If your baby stirs then ewan will activate your chosen sound. Once your baby has settled he will listen again for another 4 hours and so on. If your baby does not stir within 4 hours, the smartCRY Sensor will deactivate. To de-activate the smartCRY Sensor, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds, this time you should hear 3 simultaneous beeps - this signifies that the sensor is switched off and ewan is NOT listening. 5 adjusting volume & light If you’re not the biggest fan of the look of Ollie, it may not be the sleep aid for you as there are no other colors available. Unless you physically deactivate Ollie The Owl’s CrySensor, it will continue to stay on, listening to your baby for the next 3 hours.
