About this deal

Anyway, I have many bottles of SAS , but had I realised they changed the perfume, I would prefer this one. Longevity: On skin 10 (16+ hours), 9 (12-16 hours), 8 (10-12 hours), 7 (8-10 hours), 6 (6-8 hours), 5 (3-6 hours)

What I can smell is mainly the cedar, oud, and cinnamon bark. It’s a pretty spicy and oudy dry down for me. I think it leans masculine on me also, I don’t smell the rose in here at all which I’m very sad about because I adore rose in perfumes! Well i'm not really sure if i like or not. The bottle design i fine and also the box. Longevity is enourmous, even on skin this will last after shower soo be careful how you spray it. Projection for 10-20 minutes is room filling but after that it's just within arms reach for ~4 hours and it becomes skin scent after that. The smell for me is not really great. It's definitely strong, harsh and i mostly feel the musk. Some of my friends like it, but i would not probably wear it. However the price is pretty good and i don't regret buying it. Overall i think it is an okay beast scent, but would probably not wear it because it's too animalic for my nose. The fragrance comes in an EDP concentration but it has slightly less performance than other Oud fragrances crafted by Lattafa. Nevertheless, it has respectable longevity of up to 8 hours with three sprays and 5~6 feet sillage, projecting for two hours. I don't have any doubts that I get a different scent on the opening - fresh and very spicy - while it gets woodier on the base. At the top, the fragrance projects more and it's harsher than in the base. Actually, the woody scents - radiant cashmere and animal oud - kind of melt into a single very agreeable oriental woody scent in the dry down. LATTAFA defines lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all…Made in U.A.E.

I would say if you like spicy, woody scents then give this a shot, for the price of this you really can’t go wrong, I can see why so many people enjoy it. It’s well blended, smells expensive and definitely gives off a sexual aura but it’s not the sexy perfume for me. Again, I want to smell that rose!😩 Usually, I tend to appreciate fragrances containing oud less on the opening stage and more on the base and dry-down time frame. This woody fresh scent from Lattafa contains oud and pleases me as much on the opening as on the dry down. Blue Oud is also far from being a linear fragrance; that's a plus for this unusual woody and semi-fresh perfume. To be honest, I feel Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition , has changed over the years. I’ve noticed it’s become more cloying vanilla. Versatility: 8.0 (An "all-around" versatile unisex fresh woody fragrance; That's a strange comment for an oud perfume, but Blue Oud is one of the most wearable oud fragrances I have ever tried) Sweet OUD & (SANDAL)WOOD-PATCHOULI with amazing drydown. Opens with a floral-citrus burst with patchouli, saffron & oud touches, that deepens into a caramel & amber-oud heart, all resting on a musky amber-wood base with vanilla & patchouli touches. Overall, I get a sweet oud with faint patchouli touches in the opening with a creamy sweet oud heart on a spicy-sweet & creamy (sandal)wood-patchouli base that's to die for. The drydown reminds me of other sandalwood-patchouli drydowns, although sandalwood isn't specifically listed in the notes. Fantastic performance, that might be difficult to wear in the summer heat.

Musk Mood is a clean and soapy aldehyde-musky scent. The muskiness is dual, which means it shows the two facets of musk — the soft, powdery, and creamy side in the opening and the animalistic, damp, and deer moss side in the dry-down. The scent opens with an explosion of sparkling aldehydes, with a synthetic, slightly fruity, and soapy accord. I don’t get any hairspray vibe, but somewhat floral. It is an authentic perfume based on white musk. The aldehydes are pungent and floral, with a subtlety of the lily of the valley. Instead, there is already a dry white musk, shimmering, smoothed by that “feeling of cleanliness,” a sort of Muscone or, better still, Helvetolide, more rounded and flowery. Delicate, powdery, and smooth, it spreads tender freshness and harmony and shows the fundamental mood of the perfume. The top note spreads citrus, clean and fruity notes without overpowering. LATTAFA, lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all…Made in U.A.E. Great stuff. This is pretty much the classic Middle Eastern oud fragrance of the type that is very popular these days-- a balance of floral, oud, smoke, and spice. It's still oud but not barnyard or overly animalic, oud that announces "I am oud" but not at the top of it's lungs, a very well balanced note. It is sweet, semi-floral (saffron definitely) and a bit spicy from the cinnamon. One of the best inexpensive oud compositions I have come across. Editing to add: My nose just supplied me an interesting bit of information-- I am pretty sure there's hedione in this. No wonder it's so intoxicating! Anyone else agree? Over time, similar to Oud Royal the smokiness dial turns up as the jamminess recedes. Sweet synthetic sandalwood may occasionally be seen in the murky smoke, and the rose remains as a transparent vapour, following the woods to the finish. Then you spray it on. This was my first middle-eastern fragrance, and my first smell of anything with the word "oud" in its name.

And so on second spraying - 1 cautious spray - in the evening, and the perfume is no longer screechy. I cam smell the white florals. I woke this morning, and the white florals had settled, and I could smell a lovely almost soft vanilla, and a lovely white musk. I have doused myself in it following a shower, and 1 hour later it is starting to soften. Anyway, upon opening, you are bombarded with the cinnamon bark and saffron. I hated it for the first 10 seconds, it was leaning medicinal on me. The opening is very sharp and off putting. But… give it a chance to calm down and that medicinal smell will fade. I am an admirer of Arabian Musks & Egyptian Musks ....and also an admirer of the Lattafa brand of fragrances.Dried fruits, rose and oud make up the scent profile, similar to Oud Royal, which I love. However I find that Oud Royal could use a touch more sweetness, which I find in Lattafa Opulent Oud. This is definitely a woody, fresh aquatic, with a hint of fruits. I feel like,if you like aftershave smells/shaving cream, you'd really enjoy this one. This would be amazinggg in summer/spring. The smell that whaffs in the air is just wonderful. In my opinion, this would definitely suit a man better than a woman. Opens up with this gorgeous dark juicy wine-like scent that settles into an ensemble of oud (that's not overly rubbery or skanky), sweet juicy resins and ambers, with a bit of a sugary feel. It's very wearable and very unisex, but I (32M) wear it a lot, and even got my similar aged male friends onto bottles of their own as they also agreed how lovely it is. Also as it's so beautifully cheap I often just wear it in the evenings at home and to bed as it's so lovely. Opulent Red - The most unique and most strange. It doesn't smell like anything I own. Least safe blind buy. Projection Time: 10 (10+ hours), 9 (8-10 hours), 8 (6-8 hours), 7 (5-6 hours), 6 (4-5 hours), 5 (2-4 hours)

These are different, but there are some similarities with oud-vanilla. OM doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is more of an oud-praline bland along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome, while Opulent Oud is woodier and more along the lines of Armani Prive Oud Royal. Both have powerhouse performance. I'll start off by saying im perplexed at others labeling this as aquatic and comparing it to Invictus / Lattafa Najdia (which i own) because i don't find the same qualities here AT ALL. Goes to show how different our perceptions are yet again. It is certainly very rich, dense and fashioned in the Arabian style and not for the faint of heart. The woody notes are really wearable and agreeable. There is some fresh subtleness associated with the fragrance's woody strength that makes you really enjoy this perfume. It is very well-behaved, without any hint of a "barnyard scent".This is just a little bit too heavy and masculine for me. Although the longevity is great, this also doesn’t smell cheap at all. Over all I give this fragrance a ten/ten. It's really lovley, well blended, etc. It's a more wearable middle eastern Fragrance. I love, love, loooove this stuff. These are different, but there are similarities with sweet oud. SO doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is an oud-rose & praline blend along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome. Both have amazing performance.
