Description

Vet Aqudent works by limiting plaque and tartar forming in the first place. If you struggle to brush your pet’s teeth this could be a good alternative for you. How to use Vet Aquadent ? For dogs and cats aged more than six months old, simply add 1ml of Vet Aquadent to every 100ml of water. It is advised to replace drinking water with fresh water every 24 hours, even if it has not all been consumed. Use fresh diluted solution only, as directed above. Any dog or cat owner should ideally be aware of the possibility of dental disease in their pet. It can affect the gums, teeth and structures that surround and support the animal’s teeth. It often starts with a build-up of plaque on the teeth. The plaque is concerning because it contains bacteria and food particles.

Aquadent ® FR3SH™ has been demonstrated to be highly palatable and readily acceptable to both dogs and cats I’m a big fan of xylitol in my toothpaste and sugar-free gum. It’s actually good for your teeth. So my ears perked up years ago when I heard that just like chocolate, xylitol is toxic to dogs and cats, and I should never leave my gum or toothpaste lying around where my pets could get at them. Not a problem. In general, the recommended dose is six millilitres of formula per 250 millilitres of water, but always ask your vet if you’re not sure. While toothbrushing is the gold standard for managing oral hygiene, some pets do not tolerate toothbrushing, cats especially.

Note: Does not contain xylitol – small amount found in previous formulation – even though no issues with the amount of xylitol)Vet Aquadent Freshis a flavoured and refreshing solution to help fight your pet's bad breath. Vet Aquadent contains chlorhexidine, which has antiseptic properties and is scientifically proven to prevent plaque and tartar build-up. This also helps against your dog's or cat's bad breath.

PRECAUTIONS:Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’scondition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult yourveterinarian. Vet Aquadent's ease of use makes it a truly innovative product. Just add Vet Aquadent to your pet's water daily. No rinsing required. Vet Aquadent's ingredients act on their own each time your pet drinks water. This makes Vet Aquadent the perfect product for easy, daily oral health. ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: per 5 mL (1 teaspoon): Erythritol 100mg, Inulin 25mg, Pomegranate extract (Punica granatum) 1.75mg With smaller concentrations of xylitol, the onset of clinical signs could be delayed as much as 12 hours after ingestion,” according to a 2006 press release from the center. DIRECTIONS FOR USE:Shake before using. Light sedimentation is normal. First pour recommended dose into empty bowl then add 250 ml of drinking water for every 2,5 ml of product using the dosing cup. Provide additional non-treated water as needed. Discard any treated water not consumed within 24 hours. Prepare fresh C.E.T. AQUADENT solution each day.

What is Vet Aquadent ?

Helps maintain fresh breath and supports healthy teeth and gums by controlling plaque in dogs and cats

Water additives are recommended by the WSAVA* Global Dental Guidelines as part of home care for dental hygiene.

What are the benefits of using Vet Aquadent?

Cats: 2.5 mL (½ tsp) of solution into a clean bowl and add 250 mL (1 cup) of fresh water to the bowl each day This plaque that stays on the teeth long enough then hardens into tartar. When the tartar is above the gumline it is visible and your vet can remove it quite easily during a professional dental clean. It is the tartar below the gumline which presents problems. It’s easy to forget that oral health is important for your pets too. Having clean teeth and gums not only makes them healthier, it can protect them from infections too. The signs of dental disease in dogs and cats include: broken teeth, loose teeth, bad breath, a painful and bleeding mouth, a refusal to drink or eat and drooling. Bad breath can be unpleasant for dog and cat owners. When your pet has a healthy mouth and healthy teeth, bad breath will not be a problem. A good tip is to brush your pet’s teeth regularly. The product is called CET AquaDent, and it’s a drinking water additive for dogs and cats. It’s supposed to help keep their breath fresh in conjunction with brushing.
