Description

The cheapest is the membrane keyboard, which is the easiest to make, but also has poor typing feel and response due to squishy keys. If I had to equate the body to another keyboard, Corsair’s flagship K95 Platinum comes immediately to mind.

and the Corsair K70 RGB PRO are wired-only, full-size mechanical keyboards designed for gaming use, but the RGB PRO performs better overall. Luckily, I do not save much aside from RGB effects, but if I had tons of macros saved, I would be furious. What’s up guys, in today’s Tech Gear Talk we’re going to look at the new Corsair K70 RGB MK 2 mechanical keyboard. s Low Profile's poise, looks and effectiveness did a great job of winning us over given its less-than-stellar key feel and sometimes questionable design. If you do not want to bother with all the advanced options, "Instant Lighting" at the top takes all the complexity out. Additionally, there are various guides to answer frequently asked questions about mechanical keyboards. I REALLY wish I could give this keyboard a chonky 5/5 rating but I just cant, the issue with those 3 keys only being able to now display the one colour is just too vexing! As a White Healer Mage in FFXIV, it’s definitely important to have a quick response time, but there are a lot of mechanics that can be predicted, so speed switches aren’t a necessity. Second, it would be nice if the lighting on each key is more even, but this is an inherent problem with all opaque Cherry MX stems.

The K100 is available with two types of linear switches, while the K70 is available in a variety of Cherry MX switches, so you can get the ones you prefer. But for someone like myself it makes far more sense to save the cash—and desk space— to to with the K70 and use iCue to assign the occasional macro to a key sequence. also features physical buttons on the upper left of the keyboard that can be used to switch profiles and adjust backlight brightness.

Cherry's introduction of low-profile switches seems to have given every keyboard manufacturer ideas. When placed on the table, the wrist rest does not move from side to side and has a limited slip rotation angle when lifted off the table. The media keys are a particular highlight thanks to the inclusion of a high quality metal volume wheel.
