It’s a great floating boat but also something a child can change and integrate with other Duplo toys. Most adults with no prior modeling experience would have no trouble completing a kit of skill level 2.

The cannon also shoots which is a great interactive feature, but probably not a good idea if you have little ones in the house. To nicely complete a level 2 kit, you will want to have a pair of plastic nippers for cutting parts from the runners, and a fine file, sandpaper or hobby knife for cleaning the gates. The little cannon is very strong so he is only allowed the 'cannonballs' under supervision, but they are good fun.
