I can see room for fun (and KMKY-style parodies of modern comedians) if Alan was to enter one of those newcomer stand-up competitions, with the process of the course probably being more interesting/amusing than his act. I've watched and listened to the entire Alan Partridge catalogue and the earlier shows/books literally had me crying with laughter all the way through.
