There are these nifty brake like things so you can keep the front wheels from swiveling, but I have not needed to use them yet because I love the ease of the swiveling wheels. So while I can see lots of benefits to a side-by-side buggy, I’m afraid for that reason, a tandem pushchair would still be my preferred choice. The plush mattress pad is machine washable and the adapters needed to attach the carrycot to the pushchair are included.
