There are at least two versions of this chair out there—mine is the older one with one closed sleeve end and the other newer version has both as open ended sleeves and elasticated, based on my brief look. This older one may still be available at some outlets. The product is completely unpadded. That's why it's so lightweight. The padding comes from using YOUR not-included self-inflating sleeping pad. You could also use a foam pad like a RidgeRest Classic.
